Doctors as Pharmacy Owners: Is It Legal?
In India, doctors are allowed to own and operate pharmacies as long as they meet certain regulatory requirements. According to the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940, a doctor can own a pharmacy as long as they are registered with the state pharmacy council and hold a valid pharmacy license.
